The three-year KEY-VOCs project “Metrology for VOC indicators in air pollution and climate change” aims at improving the measurement infrastructure for key Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in air by providing traceable and comparable reference gas standards and by validating new measurement systems (sensors-based) in support to the air monitoring networks.

KEY-VOCs runs under the European Metrology Research Programme and involves nine National Metrology Institutes coordinated by the Dutch Metrology institute VSL.

The purpose of the KEY-VOCs webinar, organised by INRIM in cooperation with VSL, NPL, BAM, and the European Commission, is to introduce the main project results and the perspective of potential users of these results regarding short, medium, and long-term applicability.

In addition, the webinar will illustrate the economic and technological impact of project results for improving indoor and outdoor environmental monitoring.
