METROLOGY FOR INDUCTIVE CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Thursday 25 February, from 10 am to 4 pm, a Final on-line Workshop will close the European research project "MICEV - Metrology for Inductive Charging of Electric Vehicles" (EMPIR Project 16ENG08).
The MICEV Final Event will address the following topics:
Charging of electric vehicles: state of the art and future trends
Assessment of human interaction with Wireless Power Transfer System
Measurement and computation of the magnetic flux density at charging stations
Statistical approaches and dosimetry
Guide to the measurement and computation of human exposure
Electrical measurements at charging stations, losses, efficiency, and traceability
Dynamic Inductive Power Transfer (DIPT): issues, perspectives and modelling
The MICEV project, coordinated by INRiM, is funded by the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR) of the European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET).
The purpose of the final Workshop is to share with stakeholders the research results achieved thanks to 42-month cooperation among national metrological institutes, universities, research centres, and industrial partners.
The event is free and open to the interested audience on YouTube or the Zoom platform.
