Workshop on Superconducting Parametric Amplification

ParaWave Workshop

On 27 October 2021, the virtual Workshop on Superconducting Parametric Amplification on the EMPIR project | ParaWave - Josephson travelling wave parametric amplifier and its application for metrology will be held.


The overall objective of the ParaWave project is to develop a novel and practical broadband microwave amplifier capable of operation at and beyond the fundamental, or standard quantum limit, of sensitivity. 

Applications of this capability are strongly demanded across wide-ranging areas of fundamental and applied physics and engineering, including quantum information processing, quantum computing (e.g. in the readout of qubits), quantum metrology (e.g. microwave-photon counting), radio-astronomy, medical imaging, communications and other forms of sensing.
