From 2nd to 17th November 2022, in the Conference Hall of INRiM’s Building M, located in Strada delle Cacce 91, in Turin, INRiM will host the Pop-Up Newton Room Torino.
The Pop-up Newton Room Torino, promoted by Boeing Italia in collaboration with FIRST Scandinavia’s Newton team, offers a portable science-focused classroom which provides a unique and unforgettable experience for visiting students and class teachers. The purpose is to give students the opportunity to explore, use high-quality equipment, collaborate, discuss, and have fun with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Through quality teaching programs, in line with national programs, the hosted students will have an half-day of fun thanks to the innovative STEM learning with the Newton module "Su nel cielo con i numeri" as well as the opportunity to visit our headquarters, our laboratories, and to know Metrology and its practical applications.
Newton Rooms offer practical education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for schools and kindergartens.
Through quality-assured and curriculum-based teaching programs, children and young people encounter exciting equipment and varied, explorative working methods.
