Speaker: Gabriele Bulgarini
Affiliation: TNO
Gabriele Bulgarini graduated in Physics Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Afterwards he started a journey in quantum technology with a PhD at the Technical University of Delft on the topic of semiconductor non-classical light sources in photonics nanostructures. In 2014, he joined Single Quantum where he contributed to establishing the company as the global market leader for superconducting nanowire single photon detectors, first in the role of R&D manager and then as general manager. Since 2019, he is Program Manager of the quantum technology program at TNO, the largest Dutch applied research organization that is involved in a broad range of quantum technology projects from quantum computing and communication to quantum sensing. He is also coordinating the European Framework Partnership Agreement Qu-Test.
