From May 18 to 24, 2025, the 11th international workshop “Quantum 2025 – Advances in Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information with Atoms and Photons" will be held at the Centro Congressi dell’Unione Industriale, Via Manfredo Fanti 17, in Turin.
Organized by the Università degli Studi di Torino in collaboration with the National Metrology Institute of Italy (INRiM), the Università degli Studi di Bari, and the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), the Congress will bring together about 300 physicists from all continents to discuss advances in quantum technologies.
During the week-long event, participants will discuss the latest developments in Quantum Metrology, Quantum Information, and Quantum Mechanics, with a particular focus on quantum optics.
The event, one of the largest worldwide, is part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology and is held “ad memoriam” of Carlo Novero, who gave birth to this experimental research line in Turin.
In addition, a special issue of the International Journal of Quantum Information collecting papers related to the workshop, will be published.
To encourage the participation of young researchers, a reduced registration fee is available for those presenting a poster. Acceptances will be communicated within 15 days after the submission deadline.
