On Friday, September 26, from 5:00 pm to midnight, and on Saturday, September 27, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, the European Researchers’ Night returns to Turin: the major science outreach event held simultaneously across Europe with the goal of bringing citizens closer to science and its protagonists.
For the 2025 edition, the event is part of the UNIGHT project, organized by Politecnico di Torino and the University of Turin with the support of the City of Turin and the Piedmont Region. More than 350 activities—including research labs, experiments, talks, exhibitions, workshops, prototype presentations, shows, and games—will bring to life the Castello del Valentino, the Botanical Garden, the renewed Viale Mattioli, and many other locations throughout the city.
The program is built around seven main thematic paths:
- Climate, resilience, and energy transition;
- Global health and social well-being;
- Sustainable cities and urban equity;
- Natural resources, biodiversity, and food systems;
- Cultural heritage: digital and social innovation;
- Factory of the future;
- New frontiers of research;
To complete the experience, there will also be artistic performances, guided tours, and interactive activities designed for all ages.
INRiM will also take part at the 2025 Night with talks, outreach activities, and games dedicated to children and families.
All UNIGHT 2025 events are free to attend, unless otherwise indicated in the official program, available on the event’s website.
