FRATERNISE

In Fundamental Physics experiments timing is crucial, allowing events timestamps and – hence – infer the characteristics of the observed phenomenon, depending on their coincidences. 

This project aims at realizing a Facility for the optimization of such experiments timing systems, as well as to be employed for the calibration of GNSS receivers for timing application in the frame of international BIPM calibration campaigns to whom INRiM could take part, together with other major NMIs already active in this field.
