From May 25 to 28, 2025, the 14th international symposium on “Hysteresis Modeling and Micromagnetics (HMM)" will be held at the Hotel NH Torino Centro, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 104, in Turin.
Organized by the National Metrology Institute of Italy (INRiM) the Symposium will bring together international scientists in the field.
The series of biennial international HMM symposia was initiated in 1996 at The George Washington University Virginia by Prof. Edward Della Torre. HMM was designed as an interdisciplinary international forum for discussion of the most recent advancements in domains of science and technology related to hysteresis modeling and micromagnetics. The main focus will be on theoretical aspects of magnetic materials and their applications, but more generally the role of hysteresis in a wide field of science and technology, from ecology to economy, will be discussed.
