On June 23, 2026, INRiM will host the international scientific workshop “Metrology Driving the Energy Transition and Next-Generation Industry – Advances in Temperature and Humidity Standards”.
The workshop aims to highlight the strategic role of metrology, demonstrating how advances in the measurement science can underpin emerging scientific challenges and industrial innovation. It will showcase the contribution of temperature and humidity metrology to the energy transition, sustainable technologies, and next-generation industrial processes, fostering dialogue and encouraging new collaborations between National Metrology Institutes, the broader scientific community, and industry stakeholders.
The workshop will provide a forum to discuss recent developments on measurement standards and future challenges in the field with contributions from internationally recognized experts. It will offer an opportunity to strengthen scientific exchange and promote interdisciplinary collaborations in support of future energy and industrial applications.
