Paragrafo
IMPreSA - Metrological Infrastructure for Food Safety since February 2021, is an emerging and innovative institution which is aimed at companies and consumers by developing research activities and metrological services in support of safe and sustainable food.
The infrastructure is able to:
- Provide scientific expertise, analytical instrumentation and metrological support for the control and development of food packaging materials;
- Verify compliance with national and international regulations concerning the safety of food contact materials;
- Verify food safety;
- Provide support for the drafting and implementation of innovative research projects.
IMPreSA has been funded with the contribution of the Regional Operational Programme “Investments for the growth and employment” F.E.S.R. 2014/2020 - ACTION I.1a.5.1 “Support for research infrastructure considered critical/crucial for regional systems”.
