INRiM announces a research start-up grant entitled “Characterization of Nanoporous-Stabilized Liquid Crystals”.
The six-month research activity will be carried out at the INRiM headquarters in Sesto Fiorentino (Florence, Italy) and will focus on investigating the morphological and opto-mechanical properties of stabilized liquid crystals produced using different formulations.

Applicants must have the following requirement:
- Hold a Master’s Degree in Physics, or Chemistry, or Materials Engineering and Science.
Candidates who have obtained a degree from a foreign university are also eligible, provided that the qualification has been officially recognized as equivalent by the competent Italian universities or by the Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca (MUR), or has otherwise obtained such recognition in accordance with the applicable regulations.

INRiM announces a research start-up grant entitled “FAIR Technical Workflow for Measurements in the Quantum Circuits for Metrology Laboratory and Nonlinear Input-Output Modelling of TWPA Amplifiers”.
The six-month research activity will be carried out at the INRiM headquarters in Turin and will focus on the preparation of a technical report defining a workflow based on FAIR principles for the preparation, execution, preliminary analysis, presentation, storage, and reuse of measurements carried out in the laboratory.

Applicants must have the following requirement:
- Hold a Master’s Degree in Physics or Electronic Engineering.
Candidates who have obtained a degree from a foreign university are also eligible, provided that the qualification has been officially recognized as equivalent by the competent Italian universities or by the Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca (MUR), or has otherwise obtained such recognition in accordance with the applicable regulations.
